Quick Notation
Mar. 29th, 2018 10:03 pmThis variation of Dorn is based on the 'If the Emperor had a Text to Speech Device' parodic series that serves as a surprisingly concise summation of the Wathammer 40,000 universe.
Dorn is pretty much a tube-grown superhuman nine to ten feet in size (accurate measurements were never given), and is essentially the genetic template to several armies worth of Space Marines - whom he considers his sons (despite some... differences with a few).
Outwardly Dorn is tremendously stoic, his voice never leaving a deadpan tone unless it is a subject that he feels very strongly towards. He is tremendously blunt, brutally honest and to the point, often preferring to cut to the heart of a matter rather than bandying about. Despite seemingly acting ignorant of metaphors and idioms, it is highly likely that he understands them and is simply enjoying the reactions he garners from taking them literally.
While he is taciturn and practical especially regarding matters of fortification and war, he surprisingly shows some care for normal human beings - not on the level of his overly friendly and cheerful brother Vulkan - but enough to understand they make the Imperium of Man and of course need some joy in their thankless lives within the 41st Millennium.
Surprisingly he is a very capable father figure despite his quirks, caring for a menial vox(radio) operator serf whom had the misfortune of being simply renamed 'Boy' by the Emperor. Educating, encouraging and even protecting the serf from undeserved verbal abuse to the point of drawing a weapon. He has at one occasion referred to the serf as 'My boy', with the serf in return calling him 'Lord Dadorable'.
